My Friends are Unstable

So this is my friend Don.  He's a smart guy and works in the high tech industry.  What do you think he is up to in this photo?  Should somebody tell him he doesn't have to retrieve the laundry this way?  He could just go up to the porch and draw the clothesline in.  Unless there's something else ....

Maybe he is on to something.  I get it now!  He discovered an all-natural environmentally friendly three-cycle Wash & Dry!  You put 'em on the line, pull 'em into the chlorine bath, let 'em sit for 10 minutes in the wash cycle, then pull 'em out the other end for the drying cycle and summertime fabric freshener application.

But wait.  Houston, we have a problem.  The right side of the washing machine is down wind from the horse stable.  That summertime fabric freshening will have some undesired anomalies.

This is a terrible situation.  If he wears those clothes people won't be able to distinguish the horse from the bull.
